This collection consists of materials pertaining to Dick Erath's personal life, his wine brand Erath Winery, his vineyard holdings, his nursery business, and other businesses within the Oregon Wine Industry. Materials include financial information, grape sales, awards and plaques, information from the publication of his book The Boys Up North, vineyard information, wine sales, research, organizations and meetings, and a large number of publications including books, magazines, newspapers, and journals.

This collection contains documentation of climate records, early organizational minutes and notes for the Wine Grower’s Council of Oregon (now known as the Oregon Wine Board), research publications from Oregon State University for Oregon wine growers and winemakers as well as academic research notes and articles pertaining to the growing of grapes, which includes the costs associated with starting a vineyard. There is also a small amount of documentation pertaining to land use and legislative issues.

This collection contains information on the internal affairs of the Oregon Wine Board: financials, office management, board meetings, membership data, and correspondence. Tax and legal information about the development of wine and the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) and state government is documented. The collection also contains information on the external affairs of the Oregon wine industry as a whole which includes regional data, varietal information, Oregon wine events, news, marketing and botany research, newsletters, winery information, and tourist information and research.

This collection contains newspaper and magazine articles highlighting the Ponzi Vineyards, photographs of the vineyards, invitations sent to and from the Ponzi’s, information about the Ponzi Vineyards published by the Ponzi Estate and outside publications, documents of correspondence, and miscellaneous materials that include mentioning of the Ponzi Vineyards and their wine.

This collection contains mostly photographs. The photographs depict the beginning of the vineyard and winery. The photographic history takes you from a barren land of dry grass and dirt roads to the construction of a marvelous contemporary building used to produce their award-winning wines; beautifully landscaped gardens; and immaculately maintained vineyards. The photos also capture annual harvest highlights, annual dinner parties, as well as photos of staff and vineyard workers. There are also several photos from wine and food events attended by Rex Hill Vineyards and photos of events that took place at Rex Hill Vineyards, such as weddings and fundraising events.

Also included: VHS promotional videos, slides, negatives and a small collection of graphic art items used to promote the vineyard.

The collection contains mostly paper documents, but there can also be found an audio recording, a few photo sets, some poster boards, and a medal. This collection was largely compiled by Susan and Bill Sokol Blosser over the years that they ran the winery. The records consist of mostly business, finance, and publicity, but there is also a plethora of information about the history and the day to day proceedings of the winery. Information on the wine, the vines, the buildings, the properties, the people, the associates, the business, and the founder are included in the collection.

This collection contains articles, newspapers and published academic studies promoting the Oregon Wine industry and the Southern Oregon Wine Institute. The collection also includes building plans, proposals, newspaper articles and design plans for the Danny Lang Teaching, Learning and Event Center in addition to various SOWI memorabilia and promotional documents.

The collection contains mostly paper documents, as well as some VHS tapes. This collection was largely compiled by William Fuller over the years that he ran Tualatin Estate Vineyards and worked for the Oregon Wine Board. The records consist of mostly business, finance, and publicity, but there is also a plethora of history and day to day proceedings of the two businesses.

This collection contains harvesting details: amount of grapes harvested, weather patterns, schedules for harvesting, varieties of grapes harvested, and comparisons to other local vineyards; spray programs: types of pesticides used, amount used, cost of such pesticides, information on how to use spray programs, and schedules for spray programs; financial records: cost of equipment, payment to employees, and sales; soil analysis: records of testing done by OSU, nutrient deficiencies, and propositions for nutrient supplements; disease and disaster records: phylloxera infestation, disaster relief form and reply, and prevention and treatment research and documentation; Oregon Wine Advisory Board: newsletters, regional data, and notices.
