The collection contains mostly paper documents, as well as some VHS tapes. This collection was largely compiled by William Fuller over the years that he ran the vineyard and worked for the Oregon Wine Board. The records consist of mostly business, finance,
and publicity, but there is also a plethora of history and day to day proceedings of the two businesses.

Amongst the memorabilia and ephemera of the Linfield Upward Bound Collection, there are significant numbers of candid photos and slides documenting the 42-year history of the grant-run program at the Linfield campus. Because this program was federally run and supported, there are numerous grant application materials and fact- books pertaining to intricacies of federal TRIO program policies. This collection also contains examples of student work, articles documenting Upward Bound successes and scrapbooks compiled during the Upward Bound program’s presence at the Linfield campus.

The Helen Blumenstiel Collection
Seven boxes of materials related to Helen’s life at Linfield as well as many other institutions and also her personal affairs. the collection contains letters, journals, class notes, assignment sketches, and many photos of both Helen’s work, her farm, and herself.

This collection contains publications, photographs and documents pertaining to the Winegrowers Council of Oregon, as well as event information from the period Fred and Mary Benoit owned Chateau Benoit (1979-1999). Some of the publications include: The Oregon Wine Publication, The Tendril, NW Wine Almanac, various books, handbooks, and more. These publications range from the years 1970 to 1999. There are numerous documents relating to different events Chateau Benoit put on, attended, or at which Fred and Mary Benoit were guests. There are also many publications and documents from the Benoits/ time as members in the Wine Growers Association.

The Amity Vineyards Collection
This collection contains a unique comprehensive representation of the evolution of Amity Vineyards and the history of the Oregon wine industry. The collection encompasses the day-to-day functionalities of Amity Vineyards, including business correspondence, marketing strategies, laboratory information and personal memorabilia. In addition to focusing on Amity Vineyard’s 40-year evolution, this collection also encompasses the unique perspective on the development of the Oregon wine industry through various publications, documentation of various Oregon wine organizations, as well as through local, regional and international wine events hosted by or featuring various Oregon wineries.

This collection contains framed photos of Dr. Teal and the Linfield football team from the years 1974 to 1994. The commemorative plaques for service and 1986 NAIA championship date from Dr. Teal’s tenure as volunteer team physician. A postcard, screen-print, and Linfield football highlight DVD from the 2004 season complete the collection.

This collection contains articles, newspapers and published academic studies promoting the Oregon Wine industry and the Southern Oregon Wine Institute. The collection also includes building plans, proposals, newspaper articles and design plans for the Danny
Lang Teaching, Learning and Event Center in addition to various SOWI memorabilia and promotional documents.

The collection was donated by Shelley Sanderlin, a retired College Relations Technical Specialist and Administration Coordinator in the Department of Music at Linfield.

The collection is comprised of articles, letters, photos and other artifacts that feature attributes, reviews, events, celebrations and announcements pertaining to Mr. DeVito and Salishan Lodge. The majority of the collection is an account of Mr. DeVito’s success as
the maître d’ and cellar master at Salishan Lodge in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. There is documentation in the Phillip DeVito Collection illustrating how people would travel to Salishan primarily to have an encounter with Mr. DeVito and benefit from his wine expertise.

This interview is with Dick Erath of Erath Winery. In this interview, Dick shares his experience of working in the Oregon wine industry. He speaks about the benchmark moments in the Oregon Wine Industry, tells stories about others in the industry, and goes over struggles the industry faced - like the appearance of phylloxera. He describes the early days at Erath, as well as the challenges and questions he encountered. He discusses growing his business, selling his wine, and adapting as the industry grew. He also talks about the past and present of Oregon Wine and predicts what will be in its future.

The collection includes French and Oregon wine bottles, wine glasses from various celebrations and events, numerous wine bottle corks, cork screw, books on wine and a small sampling of documents pertaining to wine events in Oregon, such as wine labels and wine event passports. This collection also contains a pair of shears that are said to have been used to prune Amity Vineyards’ original vine stock in Oregon.

This collection mostly consists of photographs and documents collected throughout the years Mark and Ada attended Linfield College. The collection contains photographs, a scrapbook, two group photos, grade reports and letters from the school, a chapter from Mark Rich’s unpublished autobiography, as well as two yearbooks, Linfield Reviews, and miscellaneous memorabilia and biblical documents. The collection also includes Mark Rich’s baseball sweater from his time at Linfield College.
